The update to the ‘News’ application from IZ Research
You can now also restrict your news searches to specific areas. Whether using precise polygon drawing or a postcode, this allows you to find exactly what you’re looking for within IZ Research’s ever-growing news database.
Want to quickly check the relevance of a news item? The revised listing of reports allows you to skim the text in the overview and see at a glance which information will support you in your work.
From the map to understanding
Which regions are generating a particularly high volume of property news, and how are these stories distributed in your area? You can now see this at a glance with the new heatmap.
Whether it’s specific properties, transactions, cities or key players – when you hover over a story, the location appears directly on the map. This saves you valuable time when finding the news that matters to you and keeps you constantly up to date.
Using the Geomanager, which is also integrated into other IZ Research applications, you can filter news coverage by administrative areas, service provider market areas and postcode zones.
Are you already using IZ Research and have you saved polygons for one of the other applications? You can use these across applications in the News Tool. To do so, open the ‘User Polygons’ tab in Geomanager and select your template.
Would you like to narrow your search to an area with more than 40,000 inhabitants or particularly high noise levels?
For detailed searches, combine the newly integrated map, which now makes our 21 thematic maps available in the ‘News’ app as well.
By the way: would you like to make sure you don’t miss any updates for your location in future? Keep track of your custom searches and set up notifications for new updates at intervals of your choosing.
Improved readability of the news
Want to keep track of everything despite the sheer volume of news? That’s not always easy in the hectic day-to-day of work.
With the help of the revamped news listing, you can now browse news items in the overview without having to switch to the news detail page. This saves time and helps you find the key information for your search more quickly.
Is your focus exclusively on the text content? Expand the news overview with a single click, sort your selection by oldest and newest items, and apply your chosen filters so you don’t miss out on anything related to these topics in future.
Conclusion
With the latest update to the ‘News’ app, you can now focus solely on the information that’s essential for your work. Choose exactly which stories are relevant to you and view all the news clearly laid out on a single screen. The improved readability of the news saves you valuable time and keeps you fully up to date.
