Summer release of IZ Research: New noise map and ‘Investments’ and ‘Rentals’ features sharpen focus on real estate market
IZ Research is pleased to present the summer release 2024, which will make your real estate market analysis even more differentiated with the new topic map on noise pollution and the “Investments” and “Rentals” applications. The familiar “Transactions” application will be replaced in the process.
The new theme map on noise pollution
The new noise map is now integrated into the IZ Research Map Manager and provides you with area-based visualisations of noise pollution from road, rail, air and industry. You can choose between two noise indicators:- LNight (night noise)
- LDEN (24-hour day-evening-night noise indicator).
To help you see at a glance whether a property is affected by noise and to what extent, the noise data is displayed on the property details page in the location information as well as graphically on the noise map.
- Informed location decisions: Accurate noise data helps you better assess the attractiveness of sites. Investors, for example, use the noise map to get an idea of noise levels before visiting a site and to plan noise abatement measures.
- Increased transparency: Detailed visualisations of noise exposure create clarity and trust among all stakeholders.
- Acquisition support: Identify areas of high noise exposure and find out who owns the buildings in those areas. This is of particular interest to companies developing smart technology for noise control in buildings.
The new Investments feature
You can now find transactions in the new ‘Investments’ application. IZ Research now offers an improved overview of individual and portfolio transactions. Package purchases have been integrated into the investment view.

The new Rentals feature
The Rentals application provides landlords, asset managers, investors, developers and agents with accurate and up-to-date data on the commercial property rental market. Quickly identify the tenant/sector mix and tenant potential for your property.
Improved export for easier data analysis
Export in the Objects application has also been completely redesigned in this release. Data is now clearly organised in additional tabs. This makes it easier for you to process the relevant data directly in Excel. There is also a Table of Contents for a better overview.
