Up to <strong>20 of their closest connections<\/strong> appear around them. Individual roles can be hidden via the legend.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s the benefit?<\/h2>\n<p>\u2018Close Players\u2019 reveals <strong>connections that can easily remain hidden when looking at individual companies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The feature helps you to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identify relevant market players and their environment more quickly,<\/li>\n<li>discover new research approaches,<\/li>\n<li>classify joint activities relating to specific objects, and<\/li>\n<li>explore networks of players step by step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important: A connection does not automatically imply a partnership. It indicates that two players have appeared in connection with shared objects according to the defined criteria.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Meaningful connections \u2013 with clearly defined boundaries<\/h2>\n<p>To ensure the results remain transparent, fixed criteria apply to \u2018Close Players\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 20 closest connections<\/strong> are displayed in each case \u2013 this is therefore a ranking rather than a complete overview of all points of contact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holdings from 2016<\/strong> onwards are taken into account. A property is considered a \u2018shared property\u2019 if the periods of ownership by the two stakeholders overlap or are separated by no more than four years.
